TDP Supremo and state's opposition leader Nara Chandra Babu Naidu is all set to visit flood-hit Uttarakhand and Delhi on Monday. Apparently moved by the devastation caused by natural disaster, the former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh would meet the pilgrims from the state, who are camping in Delhi. Some of the injured pilgrims from the state are undergoing treatment in Delhi and Dehradun, sources said. The TDP MPs and MLAs would contribute their one month salary towards the relief of flood victims in Uttarakhand, they added.

Naidu also alleged that there appeared to be poor coordination among various agencies in the rescue and relief measures. The TDP chief said efforts should be continued till the last surviving person is rescued.

Definitely, Chandra Babu Naidu, ahead of general elections next year, has scored some brownie points with his decision to visit and console the victims of state who were badly hit by the floods
